Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician Job in Hendersonville, Tennessee
Join a well-supported emergency department in Hendersonville, TN, just northeast of Nashville. This locum tenens Emergency Medicine Physician opportunity offers a rotating 12-hour schedule, strong clinical support, and a busy ED environment with average-acuity cases.

Schedule: Rotational schedule with morning, mid, and night 12-hour shifts
Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
Hours Per Week: 36
Call: No call required
Orientation: 2-day shadowing and orientation
Patient Volume: Approximately 113 daily billable encounters
Admissions: Approximately 17 daily billable admissions
Facility Highlights: Accredited chest pain center and stroke center
Job Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
ABEM certification required
Open to new graduates
Ability to provide standard emergency department care
Comfort working in an average-acuity emergency setting
Clean file preferred for emergency privileges consideration
Case logs may be required during credentialing
Responsibilities Provide comprehensive emergency medicine care for a diverse patient population
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and injuries in the ED
Perform standard emergency department procedures as needed
Work collaboratively with nurses, techs, APPs, and on-site medical staff
Manage a steady flow of emergency visits, admissions, and consults
Deliver efficient, high-quality care in a fast-paced clinical environment
