Lutheran Hospital is a 396-bed tertiary care facility delivering innovative and compassionate care to adults and children across northeastern Indiana and northwestern Ohio. The hospital features:
Accredited cancer program and comprehensive breast center
Level II adult and pediatric trauma centers
Certified stroke center
Accredited bariatric surgery center
Northern Indiana's only heart transplant program
Emergency Department Overview
Annual ED volume: 34,302
Daily physician coverage: 38 hours
Daily APC coverage: 27 hours
ED beds: 44
Trauma level: II
Acuity: High
Admission rate: 33%
Required: Board-certified or board-eligible in emergency medicine (EM)
