TeamHealth is seeking a full-time board-certified or board-eligible emergency medicine physician to join our exceptional Marco Island Urgent Care team.
Located in one of Southwest Florida’s most desirable coastal communities, this opportunity combines a clinical practice with an unmatched lifestyle. State-of-the-Art Facility Modern 25,000-square-foot urgent care center
12 private exam rooms
Dedicated triage room
On-site laboratory services
Advanced digital x-ray capabilities
CT imaging available on-site
Access to radiology support and comprehensive diagnostic services
EMR: EPIC
Annual Volume: 8,000
Physician Coverage: 8 a.m.to8 p.m.
APC Coverage: 8 a.m.to6 p.m.December to March
RN Coverage: 2 to 3 RNs present the entire shift
Certifications Required: ACLS andPALs, unless ABEM boarded
Physician-Led Care Model Staffed by board-certified physicians
Supported by experienced registered nurses and clinical staff
Ability to manage a broad range of urgent and emergent presentations
Two negative-pressure rooms to support infection control and airborne isolation precautions
Comprehensive Patient Care IV infusion services
Lacerations/injuries
Workers compensation cases
Blood testing and point-of-care diagnostics
Seamless access to NCH specialists and hospital services
Integrated healthcare system allowing direct referral, consultation, and transfer when needed
Qualifications MD or DO degree
Board-certified or board-eligible in EM
Eligible for Florida medical licensure
Strong commitment to quality, service excellence, and patient-centered care
