Banner Payson Regional Medical Center is actively seeking a full-time staff physician to join our emergency department team. Located in the heart of Arizona's Rim Country, Payson offers a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. From hiking and mountain biking to fishing, rock climbing, and camping, this scenic town is surrounded by the Tonto National Forest and just a short drive from Phoenix.
This is an excellent opportunity for a board-certified or board-eligible emergency medicine physician, or a primary care physician with ED experience, to practice in a supportive and efficient clinical environment. A qualified candidate must also be licensed or eligible for license in Arizona.
Opportunity Overview
Level IV trauma center
10-bed ED with approximately 15,000 annual visits
Advanced practice clinician and full specialty coverage
EMR System: Cerner with Dragon dictation

Payson hosts a variety of events and activities including the "August Doins" (World's Oldest Continuous Rodeo), the Beeline Cruise-In Car Show, Aero Fair, the Payson Mountain High Games and the Old Time Fiddlers Contest. Outdoor opportunities abound in Payson and the Rim Country. Enjoy camping, fishing, hiking & biking trails, hunting and local attractions like the Tonto Natural Bridge.
