We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity at a hospital-based Emergency Department in Inverness, Florida .
This role is ideal for physicians looking for schedule flexibility, consistent shifts, and a well-supported clinical environment , with the option for extended coverage depending on availability and fit.
Position Overview
• Specialty: Emergency Medicine
• Assignment Type: Locum Tenens
• Setting: Hospital-based Emergency Department
• Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
• Start Date: ASAP
• Schedule: Flexible; multiple shift options available
• Travel & Lodging: Assistance available
Clinical Environment
• Established Emergency Department
• Collaborative care model with physician and APP support
• Standard Emergency Medicine case mix
• EMR in place
• On-site resources to support efficient patient flow and quality care
Candidate Qualifications
• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Active Florida license or willingness to obtain
• ACLS, ATLS, PALS (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• DEA
• Comfortable practicing in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
Compensation
• Highly competitive
