Job description
Position: Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician
EMR: Allscripts (Sunrise)
Start Date: November 1, 2026 (Ongoing Coverage)
Credentialing Timeline: 60 Days
Schedule & Shift Breakdown Primary Ongoing Need: 6 8 Night Shifts (6:00 PM 6:00 AM) per month, ideally worked in consecutive blocks
Specific November 2026 Shift Openings:
Mid-Shifts (1:00 PM 9:00 PM): 11/3 11/4, 11/8 11/10, 11/23, 11/29
Day Shifts (6:00 AM 6:00 PM): 11/11, 11/30
Late Mid-Shifts (11:00 AM 11:00 PM): 11 17, 11/22
Thanksgiving Holiday Block (11 26): Openings across 6a 6p, 6p 6a, and 11a 11p
Standard Shift Options:
Physician Shifts: 6:00 PM 6:00 AM 6:00 AM 2:00 PM 1:00 PM 9:00 PM
APC Shifts (Physicians eligible to cover): 9:00 AM 9:00 PM 11:00 AM 11:00 PM
Clinical Workload & Facility Infrastructure Annual ED Volume: 20,000 patient visits per year
Inpatient Admissions: Hospitalists manage all inpatient admissions
Clinical Responsibilities: ER Provider Code Response required
Qualifications & Candidate Requirements Board Status: ABEM Board Certification strongly preferred; New Graduates welcomed
Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications required
