Job description
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician for an ongoing locum opportunity in Georgia. This assignment offers a collaborative Emergency Department environment with strong specialty support, daily APP coverage, and no call responsibilities.

Clinical Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients presenting with a broad range of emergency conditions
Supervise Advanced Practice Providers
Collaborate with consulting specialists
Department Details
Approximately 40,000 annual ED visits
310-bed hospital
30 Emergency Department beds
38 physician coverage hours daily
24 hours of NP/PA coverage daily
Requirements
MD or DO
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
Active, unrestricted Georgia medical license
DEA with Georgia address
ACLS and PALS required
ATLS required (not required if ABEM certified)
Clinical activity/case logs for the past 2 years
CME/CEU documentation (20 hours per year for the past 2 years)
Credentialing
Temporary privileges available
TB screening required
Flu vaccine required during flu season

A residency-trained Emergency Medicine physician seeking an ongoing assignment in a high-volume Emergency Department with strong specialty support, APP collaboration, and no call responsibilities.
