JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine (ABEM, ABFM, ABIM)
Licenses: Active Ohio license and DEA
DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
Certifications: ATLS required for ABFM/ABIM providers; ABEM providers must show prior ATLS documentation
Experience: Minimum 2 years of emergency medicine experience
Other Qualifications: Must have 10+ shift availability; complete credentialing requirements including peer references and verification
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to a diverse patient population in a Level 3 trauma center.
Perform emergency procedures including intubation, suturing, central line placement, and other resuscitative measures.
Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (NPPAs) and nursing staff.
Manage patient admissions, observations (30% rate), and transfers (3.1% rate) as clinically indicated.
Maintain active Ohio license, DEA, and hospital privileges; adhere to credentialing and privileging timelines.
