THE OPPORTUNITY Provide Emergency Medicine coverage in a 16K-volume ED with 12-hour physician shifts and additional APP coverage.
This opportunity is open to qualified MD/DO physicians with Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine residency training who meet the facility's board certification and credentialing requirements.
PHYSICIAN REQUIREMENTS MD or DO
Board Certification Required
Completion of an approved EM, FM, or IM residency
Active, unrestricted Virginia Medical License
DEA with Virginia address and required schedules
2 Years of Case Logs
ACLS, ATLS and PALS required when applicable based on training/board status
NRP required for non-ABEM providers
New EM residency graduates within the past 12 months may be considered
3-month proctorship may apply to new graduates
