Ely, IA
Looking for well-paid ED shifts without practicing on an island? A top-rated critical access hospital in Iowa is adding per diem emergency physicians to its team.
About the ED
About 9,000 patient visits per year
12- and 13-hour shifts: days (7a–7p) and nights (6p–7a)
Second provider on from days through swing
Epic EMR
Rural CAH
On-site support from anesthesia, OB, general surgery, and a hospitalist program
What we offer
$285/hour

Qualifications
MD or DO
Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (Family Medicine Physicians with significant ED experience are encouraged to apply)
Active Iowa medical license, or ability to obtain one (Iowa participates in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact)
Current ACLS, ATLS, and PALS
Within reasonable driving distance of Decorah, IA (La Crosse, Rochester, Waterloo/Cedar Falls, Mason City, Dubuque, and surrounding areas)
