JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM, AOBEM), Family Medicine (ABFM), Internal Medicine (ABIM), or General Surgery (ABPS)
Licenses: Active Kentucky medical license, Kentucky DEA
DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
Certifications: ATLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Emergency Medicine, or completion of 12-month internship and enrollment in an approved residency program
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting with a wide range of conditions.
Perform emergency procedures including suturing, splinting, intubation, and central line placement.
Collaborate with nursing staff, APPs, and support personnel to ensure efficient patient flow.
Document all patient encounters accurately in the T-sheets EMR system.
Adhere to facility credentialing, privileging, and compliance requirements.
