Position Title: Emergency Medicine Physician

Location: Knox Community Hospital - Mount Vernon, Ohio

Job Type: Full-Time Part-time PRN

Position Overview Serve patients in moments that matter and be a part of the future of health care. SCP Health, a physician-founded and physician-led organization, is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join the Emergency Department at Knox Community Hospital, a community-focused acute care hospital located in Mount Vernon, Ohio.

This opportunity offers a moderate-volume Emergency Department, strong physician collaboration, and the ability to provide high-quality emergency care in a supportive and patient-centered environment. Providers benefit from predictable compensation, efficient workflows, and a stable practice setting within a respected health system.

Clinical & Program Details Patient Volume: Approximately 25,000 ED visits annually

Specialties: Emergency Medicine

Coverage Model: 24 hours of physician coverage daily

22 hours of NP/PA coverage daily

Facility Type: 115-bed Community Hospital

Emergency Department Beds: 17

Acuity: Moderate

Shift Length: 12-hour shifts

Procedures: Standard emergency medicine procedures appropriate to NP scope of practice

Admissions/Transfers: Coordinated through hospital and physician leadership

Ideal Candidate

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, ABIM or ABFM ATLS required
