REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Moderate Sedation
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Board: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
Licenses: Active Indiana Medical License, Indiana Controlled Substance Registration, DEA with Indiana address
DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Indiana address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, and 4; Indiana Controlled Substance Registration
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required
Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine required
Other Qualifications: Flu vaccination, TB test within 12 months, COVID vaccination documentation, case logs (2 years), CME attestation, malpractice history (10 years), IPCF enrollment, Coverys requirements
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide emergency medical care to patients at both Franciscan Health Munster and Franciscan Health Dyer.
Perform moderate sedation procedures as needed.
Manage a moderate-acuity patient volume in a 63-bed acute care hospital.
Work collaboratively with support staff and specialists.
Maintain cross-credentialing and privileges at both facilities.
