About the Clinician's Workday
The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide locum tenens clinical coverage during day and night shifts at this on-site emergency department, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients presenting with a variety of acute conditions across all age groups in a 19-bed emergency department that receives approximately 32,000 annual visits. Clinicians will work alongside APPs to manage emergency cases, coordinate care with available specialists, and facilitate patient admissions or transfers as necessary. Prescriptive authority is required for this assignment. No call responsibilities are associated with this position.
