Overview We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician, MD or DO, for a short-term locum tenens assignment in Newburgh, Indiana. Job Details Specialty: Emergency Medicine Position Type: Locum tenens physician Location: Newburgh, Indiana Setting: 100% inpatient coverage Schedule: Night shifts only Shift Duration: 10-hour overnight shifts Shift Options: 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM, 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM, or 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM Duration: 1 day Estimated Weekly Pay: $10,500 - $11,250 Location Highlight: Scenic and convenient community in southwestern Indiana Job Requirements MD or DO degree required Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Medicine experience required Ability to work exclusive night shifts Flexibility to adapt to coverage needs Demonstrated procedural competency with supporting logs for select procedures Experience performing or assisting with moderate sedation Ability to cover 5-7 consecutive days at a time is preferred Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency medicine care in an acute inpatient environment Perform procedures as needed, including breast cyst aspiration, central venous pressure catheterization, endotracheal intubation, lumbar puncture, nasal hemostatic packing, paracentesis, suprapubic bladder aspiration, thoracentesis, and moderate sedation Maintain flexibility to support changing coverage needs in a locum tenens setting Deliver safe, efficient care during overnight emergency department shifts Collaborate with the care team to support excellent patient outcomes Apply now to explore this Emergency Medicine Physician locum tenens opportunity in Newburgh, Indiana.
