Job description
Locum Tenens Opportunity: Emergency Medicine Locations: North Adams, MA + Floating to BMC
Trauma Level: Level III
️ Total Beds: 32
Start Date: ASAP Temps available
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, priority for overnights (7 PM 7 AM)
Annual ER Volume: 55,000
APP Coverage: Yes
Key Responsibilities & Facility Info: EMR: Meditech
Admissions: Performed by hospitalists
ED Responsible for: Supervising ambulance/paramedics by radio
OB Deliveries: Sent directly to Labor & Delivery (not the ED)
On-call Response Time: 30 minutes
No code responsibility for ED physicians
Credentialing & Travel: Temps available for faster onboarding
Hotel reimbursed (flights not covered MA preferred )
Submission Requirements (All Required): MA License Highly Preferred (MA licensed candidates prioritized)
ABEM Board Certified or BE within 5 years of residency
BLS, ACLS, ATLS Required
Clean Background Required for quick credentialing
Availability with name clear submission Required
