JOB REQUIREMENTS
Licenses: Active MA license
Board: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (BC) required
DEA: DEA required (MA)
Certifications: ACLS
Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Emergency Medicine
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages in a critical access hospital ED.
Manage patient volume of 20-24 patients per day, seeing 2.5-3 patients per hour.
Work night shifts (7p-7a) as scheduled, approximately 10-13 shifts per month.
Collaborate with limited onsite specialty support and coordinate transfers as needed.
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR.
