Emergency Medicine opening in MarylandLocated in Oakland, MD - Pittsburgh 100mFull-time, permanent positionSeeking BC/BE Overview: The state's largest health system and largest private employer comprises 18 hospitals throughout the state and bordering states. In addition, it includes five institutes, as well as providing management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements. Critical Access Hospital serving Garrett County and surrounding rural communities Full-service Emergency Department with 24/7 coverage Non-designated trauma center with stabilize-and-transfer model for higher-acuity trauma Close transfer relationships with regional Level III+ trauma centers Low-to-moderate patient volume typical of a rural ED Broad-scope emergency medicine with a mix of medical, minor trauma, and limited high-acuity cases Physicians practice with a high level of autonomy Trauma and specialty cases stabilized on site and transferred as appropriate Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability Coverage, Tuition Program, Retirement, Paid Time Off, Wellness Program About the Area:Oakland, Maryland, is a small mountain town with a population of approximately 2,000, known for its scenic beauty, outdoor recreation, and close-knit community feel.
