PRN Emergency Medicine Physician Opportunity
HCA Healthcare is seeking PRN Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our practice at HCA Florida Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, Florida. Qualified candidates:
Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM). Will also consider Board Certified Family Medicine (ABFM) or Board-Certified Internal Medicine (ABIM) with Emergency Medicine experience
Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Must be able to commit to work 24 hrs. per month

30,000 Emergency Medicine visits per year
14-bed Emergency Department, including 3 fast-track including 2 dedicated trauma rooms
Multi-million-dollar expansion starting in early spring 2026 adding 11 additional bays, 2 behavioral health safe rooms, dedicated physician workspace
20% admission rate
24 hours of physician coverage
24 hours of APP coverage
Active partnership with sister facility in close proximity for Trauma, OB, Neurosurgery, Vascular Surgery and Pediatric support/transfers
