Position Overview

Serve patients in moments that matter and be a part of the future of health care. SCP Health is seeking a dedicated Physician to join our dynamic team at Lake Regional Health System EM. •Patient Volume: 36,000

•Specialties: 18-bed Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit, a 22-bed Stepdown Unit, a Level II Nursery and a state-designated Level II Stroke Center

•Coverage Model: 12-hour shifts, 12 shifts per month 12-hour mid-level coverage

•Number of Beds: 35 ER beds

•Acuity: Medium

•EMR: Meditech with Dragon

•ICU: Yes

•Admissions/Transfers: 14% admission rate

Qualifications

•Licensure: Missouri medical license (or ability to obtain)

•Board Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible - ABEM, ABIM, ABFM

•Experience: Prior EM experience required

•Skills & Procedures: Broad EM skills set appropriate for a critical access facility

•Badges: ATLS, BLS, PALS

Facility & Clinical Details

•About Lake Regional Health System: Lake Regional Health System is a 500,000 square foot, 116-bed hospital that is designated by Medicare as a Regional Referral Center. The facility features private patient rooms, a large outpatient department and a 35-bed ED. The ED is a state-designated Level III Trauma Center. The facility also features an 18-bed Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit, a 22-bed Stepdown Unit, a Level II Nursery and a state-designated Level II Stroke Center. Lake Regional Health System is accredited by The Joint Commission and is a three-time recipient of the Missouri Quality Award.

•Competitive compensation package with earning potential up to: $518,400.00
