Job description
TeamHealth is seeking board-certified or board-eligible emergency medicine physicians to join the new Banner Verrado Freestanding Emergency Department opening in the rapidly growing community of Buckeye, Arizona.
This state-of-the-art facility will expand access to emergency services throughout the Southwest Valley and provide high-quality EM care to one of Arizona's fastest-growing communities.
Facility Highlights Brand-new 15-bed FSED
Anticipated annual volume of approximately 5,000 patients in year one
Projected growth to more than 15,000 annual visits within the first five years
Supported by the main campus, Banner Estrella Medical Center
Position Highlights 12-hour physician shifts
Independent contractor (1099) status
Opportunity to help establish and shape the culture of a new ED
Collaborative physician-led environment focused on quality and patient experience
Flexible scheduling
Qualifications Board certified or board eligible in EM (ABEM/AOBEM)
Must have completed an emergency medicine residency
Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
Strong commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
