Locums - Port St. Lucie, Florida, Emergency Medicine Opening
Coverage Dates September 1, 2026 - June 13, 2027
Schedule Day and Night Shifts Available12-hour shiftsAM and PM coverage needed
Practice Setting Emergency Department
Reason for Coverage Physician resignation
Orientation Requirements 2 shadow shifts requiredEMR training required prior to independent practice
Facility Information 10-11 Emergency Department bays
Patient Volume Approximately 0.5-2 patients per hourEmergency Department admission rate: 2-3%
Patient Population Mixed pediatric and adult patientsPrimarily ESI Level 3 and Level 4 patientsOccasional ESI Level 2 patients
Support Staff Nursing staffRadiology staff
Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine requiredMust be Emergency Medicine Residency Trained
