Job description
Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, WI needs one EM physician for a 3-day holiday coverage block, November 25-27, days, 6am-6:30pm. Pay is $300/hr. This is a low-acuity, no-call assignment, 40-60 patients per 24 hours in a combined ED/urgent care setting, 20 patients per shift, 13 beds. The facility is 30 minutes from Madison and 20 minutes from Wisconsin Dells. General Surgery, Orthopedics, and a collaborative Hospitalist team are on staff, and the facility has Telestroke and Tele-ICU support plus a UW helicopter on site. Ongoing coverage needs are expected in 2027 for candidates who want to build a longer relationship with the facility.
