This lower-volume community emergency department offers the opportunity to practice with greater clinical autonomy in a supportive environment while remaining conveniently located near Norman and the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. With approximately 7,400 annual ED visits and flexible shift options, Purcell is an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking a sustainable emergency medicine practice and strong work/life balance.
Position Highlights Lower-volume ED practice
Level IV trauma facility with a low-acuity community EM environment
24/7 emergency department with physician coverage and advanced practice clinician support
Flexible scheduling with 12-hour and 24-hour physician shift options
State-of-the-art department with five private treatment rooms and a dedicated trauma room
Convenient location approximately 15 miles south of Norman with easy access to the greater Oklahoma City area
