Job description
Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician Indiana
Specialty: Emergency Medicine
Shift: Nights - 10:30 PM - 7:30 AM (9-hour shifts)
Setting: Acute Care Hospital Level III Trauma 220 Beds 42K annual volume
Coverage Dates Needed:
Sept 16 - Sept 24
Oct 11 - Oct 20
Dec 10 - Dec 16
Details:
Coverage type: Inpatient + Call
Reason for coverage: Staff leaving
ABEM/AOBEM board certified/eligible required (within 5 years of residency)
Average volume: 2 patients/hour overnight
Double/triple coverage until 2 AM, then single coverage 2-6 AM
Active Indiana license required (IMLC considered, but IN license preferred)
CSR required prior to start
Credentialing: 60-90 days No interview required
EMR: Epic
Minimum 12 shifts / 108 hours per month during coverage blocks
Seeking 1 provider only - must be able to cover most or all listed dates
Requirements:
Active IN state license
BLS required; ACLS required if requesting conscious sedation privileges
Flu & COVID vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
