Job description
The Emergency Department is generally described as providing initial evaluation and treatment for sudden illness or injury , stabilizing patients, and coordinating transfers if higher-level care is needed.
As a Critical Access Hospital , LCH s ED typically manages emergency medical care locally and works with ambulance/EMS services and, when necessary, arranges transport to larger regional hospitals for specialized or intensive care.
