Job Details Specialty: Emergency Medicine Position Type: Locum tenens physician job Location: Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,160-$7,290 Schedule: Day and night coverage with 12-hour shifts (6:00 AM-6:00 PM and 6:00 PM-6:00 AM) Coverage Pattern: Ongoing needs with multiple open dates available Patient Volume: Approximately 44 patients per day Department Size: 9-bed emergency department Setting: On-site emergency department Location Highlights: Scenic central Pennsylvania community with access to nearby Altoona and regional travel options Job Requirements Active Pennsylvania medical license required Board certification in Emergency Medicine required At least 1 year of Emergency Medicine experience required Clean malpractice history and NPDB preferred Comfort working in a busy emergency department with varied patient encounters Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency medicine care for patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions Work scheduled 12-hour day and night shifts in a collaborative emergency department environment Partner with advanced practice providers, nursing staff, respiratory therapy, and hospital leadership Evaluate, stabilize, and treat patients requiring urgent and emergent interventions Coordinate care with available specialty support, including surgery, radiology, anesthesia, and other hospital services Manage newborn deliveries that present to the ED and arrange transfer when stable, as needed Deliver efficient, patient-centered care in a department with strong clinical support and a team-focused culture Apply now for this Emergency Medicine Physician locum tenens opportunity in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania.
