Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO) Locum Tenens Opportunity Northeast San Antonio, Texas Ongoing Coverage Flexible Scheduling Level IV Trauma Center WPA Medicine Staffing is seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Northeast San Antonio, Texas. This is a high-volume emergency department offering flexible day and night shift options, strong growth potential, and the opportunity for long-term or locum-to-permanent placement.

Emergency Department Details Annual Volume: Approximately 59,000 Visits
Average Daily Volume: Approximately 160 Patients
46 Emergency Department Rooms
10 Vertical Care Areas
10 Hallway Beds
Level IV Trauma Center
Patient Population Approximately 91% Adult Patients
Approximately 9% Pediatric Patients
Clinical Responsibilities Emergency Department evaluation and management
Medical stabilization and treatment of acute illness and injury
Trauma evaluation and management
Admission and transfer coordination
Collaboration with hospital specialists and support services
Technology EMR: Meditech
Requirements ABEM Certification Preferred
Active Texas License Preferred
IMLC Candidates Accepted
