Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Emergency Medicine in Seattle, WA Summary: Join our dynamic Emergency Medicine team in the heart of Seattle, Washington. Our state-of-the-art facility is actively seeking 2 full-time locum physicians to provide critical coverage in our busy Emergency Department. This opportunity offers flexibility with varied shifts tailored to the facility's needs, allowing you to make a significant impact on patient care in one of America's most vibrant cities.
Job Responsibilities: Provide high-quality emergency medical care, including evaluation, treatment, and disposition of patients.
Work collaboratively with attending physicians to manage a broad spectrum of emergency conditions.
Ensure effective patient handoffs and communication with consultants, hospitalists, and other care teams.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
Be available for full-time shifts, with the expectation of covering 2 weeks per month (15 shifts ongoing).
Qualifications: Board Certified (ABEM/AOBEM) or Board Eligible.
Minimum of two years of experience in Emergency Medicine.
Clean background and malpractice history.
Able and willing to work varied shifts as per facility needs.
License and Certification Requirements: Valid Washington state medical license (NO IMLC accepted).
ACLS, BLS, PALS, and DEA certifications are required.
