Emergency Medicine Opportunity - Community-Based Hospital SettingLocation: Weston, WV - Morgantown 55mEmployment Type: Full-Time, permanent positionSetting: Emergency Department General HospitalPosition Highlights: Provide emergency and inpatient care within a 70-bed community hospital Resuscitate, stabilize, evaluate, and refer patients as needed Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care Support from flagship hospital in Morgantown Serve Lewis, Gilmer, Braxton, and Upshur counties Hospital: General medical and surgical facility Joined Health System in 2017 Committed to providing care to rural West Virginia communitiesQualifications: MD or DO from an accredited medical school Completion of residency in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Surgery, or Anesthesiology Board Eligible or Board Certified Unrestricted West Virginia medical license Valid DEA certificate Current CPR and ACLS/PALS required ATLS certification required (unless ABEM-certified) NRP recommended Credentialed and privileged to practice emergency medicine at HospitalCommunity: Beautiful central West Virginia location with year-round outdoor recreation Hiking, biking, skiing, rafting, hunting, fishing, and golf Supportive and welcoming community Ideal for physicians seeking meaningful rural practice and quality of life
