About the Opportunity:
Seeking a board-certified/eligible emergency medicine physician to join York Hospital's Department of Emergency Medicine.
York Hospital is a Level 1 Regional Resource Trauma Center, handling over 90,000 annual visits from a geographically diverse catchment area.
York Hospital is a Comprehensive Stroke Center, STEMI center, and ECMO-capable facility
Collaborate with a team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and 39 emergency medicine residents and fellows
Academic opportunities include faculty appointments with affiliated medical schools, access to a research department, well-developed ultrasound department, and an integrated EMS system

Minimum Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
Licenses:
Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required and
Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of York Hospital. Upon Hire Required and
Must be credentialed for all core procedures. Upon Hire Required
Certification as an Emergency Medical Commander. Upon Hire Preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Clinical skills and knowledge of emergency care, techniques and procedures.
Teaching skills.
