Job Summary and Responsibilities
nAs our Registered Nurse (RN) in Emergency Services, you will help individuals and families receive holistic, effective, and appropriate care in a safe and confidential environment so they can achieve optimal health outcomes from admission to discharge.
nEvery day you will assess patients, plan, implement, and evaluate their care, utilizing your clinical skills and technology. You will be expected to document thoroughly, accept leadership direction, mentor new staff, engage in continuous self-development, and maintain a safe patient environment while adhering to policies and procedures.

nnnAssesses the physical, psycho-social, spiritual, cultural, functional, high risk and discharge needs of the patient and family.

nnCompletes and documents initial assessment/care within required time frames.
n
nnPerforms reassessments/care at intervals as required or appropriate to the patient's specific needs.
n
nnEnsures physical assessment/care includes all major body systems.
n
nnEnsures spiritual assessment/care includes actual/expressed needs.
n
nnIncorporates cultural and ethnic factors into assessment/care.
n
n n$5,000 Sign on for eligible new hires with at least 1 year of relevant experience within the last 3-5 years.

nnnGraduate of an RN School of Nursing

nnActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California
n
nnBasic Life Support (BLS) certification - American Heart Association
n
nnAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification - American Heart Association
n
nnPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification - American Heart Association
n
n nPreferred
nnnBachelors in health related field
n
nnED experience
n
nnTrauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certification
