Job description
MLK Community Hospital seeks a Nurse Manager for our EmPATH unit to lead a multidisciplinary team delivering compassionate emergency psychiatric and behavioral health care. The Nurse Manager oversees daily operations, staffing, clinical quality, and patient flow while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and evidence‑based practices. This leader will mentor and develop nursing staff, foster a culture of safety, equity, and respect, and collaborate closely with physicians, social workers, and community partners to improve outcomes for underserved patients in South Los Angeles.
