OPEN POSITION: Emergency Room RN – Full-Time, Night Shift
As a Night Shift RN at Othello Community Hospital, you’ll provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room department. You’ll provide high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment where critical thinking and rapid response are essential. You’ll assess, treat, and stabilize patients of all ages with a wide range of urgent and emergent conditions.
Location: Othello Community Hospital, Othello, WA
Status: Full-Time (benefit earning)
Wage Range: $40.57 – $98.81/hour (plus shift differentials and premiums, if applicable)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver total nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
Triage and prioritize patients based on acuity
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols
Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
Collaborate with EMS, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety and infection control standards
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current Washington State RN license
BLS certification required at time of hire
ACLS, NRP, PALS, and TNCC certifications required within 6 months
Emergency Room experience preferred, but not required
