With the support of more than 30,000 team members, we promote a forward-thinking philosophy that's built on a foundation of trust, dignity, respect, responsibility and clinical excellence.BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking a Emergency Services Screener to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Adult Behavioral Health- King Helie !Emergency Services Screener Pool Position Details:Facility: Adult Behavioral Health- King HelieLocation: New Port Richey, FLStatus: PRN, HourlyShift Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PMWeekend Work: OccasionalOn Call: NoResponsibilities:Provide crisis intervention and assessment for adults, children and adolescents, to make recommendations for treatment that provides the least restrictive environment to meet the individual's needs for voluntary and involuntary psychiatric and substance abuse treatment.Coordinate the Intake/psych ED waiting area in conjunction with other intake/ED Team Members to ensure the care, welfare, safety and security of persons served.Responsible to coordinate with law enforcement, other hospitals, central access and outpatient agencies by providing phone screening and triage for individuals needing placement in a behavioral health receiving facility.Respond to telephone and in-person requests for referrals to internal and external sources.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:BLS (Basic Life Support)Required Education: Bachelor's Degree - Counseling, Social Work, Nursing, Special Education, Health Education, Human Services; Or - Bachelors - Related FieldRequired Experience:Required Experience includes 1 years' Mental HealthMental Health internship with 6 months Acute emergency care preferred.BayCare offers a competitive total reward package including : benefits, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, 401k match & additional yearly contribution, yearly performance appraisals, team award bonus, community discounts, the chance to be part of an amazing team and a great place to workCome join our wonderful team!This position requires Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
