Emergency Medicine Veterinarian | Be a Founding Member of Our New 24/7 ER Team. Midwest Animal Hospital is expanding in 2026 to launch a comprehensive 24-hour Emergency & Critical Care service, and we r seeking skilled, dedicated Emergency Veterinarians to join us at the ground level.

Flexible Scheduling: Choose from 3x12 or 4x10-hour shifts with a mix of day, swing, and overnight options—no mandatory overnight-only schedules unless you want them. Typically two weekends per month with options for one. We build schedules thoughtfully, with days off to recover between night and day shifts.
Compensation and Relocation: ProSal model with base ranges of $140k €“$150k for new grads and $160k €“$175k+ for experienced ER veterinarians. Plus a $20k+ sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and student loan repayment options.
Advanced Resources: Access cutting-edge diagnostics and surgical tools, including digital radiology, CT, ultrasound with certified technicians, endoscopy, and laser therapy.

Your Role
Perform hands-on emergency medicine and soft tissue surgery cases such as GDVs, foreign body removals, splenectomies, lacerations, and amputations.
Help shape our new ER protocols, culture, and workflows—your input will be valued and impactful.
