Emergency Veterinarian | Western Virginia

DVM Focus is representing an Emergency Veterinarian opportunity in the broader Western Virginia region for a doctor interested in continuing—or developing—their career in emergency medicine.
The Opportunity
This is an opportunity for a veterinarian interested in emergency and urgent veterinary medicine within a collaborative clinical environment.
The right veterinarian will value thoughtful medicine, communication, teamwork, and the ability to adapt as cases and priorities change throughout a shift.

What We’re Looking For
DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
Current veterinary license in Virginia, or eligibility to obtain one
Interest in emergency and urgent veterinary medicine
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively with clients during challenging situations
Collaborative, team-oriented approach to medicine
Commitment to high-quality patient care
Veterinarians with emergency experience as well as doctors interested in further developing their emergency medicine careers are encouraged to connect
