Job Overview
A law firm seeks a midlevel associate to join its Emerging Companies and Venture Capital group in Seattle, WA. The practice represents innovative companies throughout their lifecycle and the funds that invest in them, ranging from startups to technology market leaders.
Duties
Represent clients in business formation, financing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.
Manage internal and external client and counsel relationships effectively.
Collaborate with experienced practitioners on sophisticated venture capital matters.
Requirements
Minimum of two years of experience in emerging companies and venture capital.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in quantitative analysis and Excel.
Stellar academic credentials and references.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Admitted to practice law in the state of Washington.
Skills
Ability to manage complex legal transactions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and client management abilities.
