Job Overview
A law firm seeks an Employment Attorney to join its plaintiff-side employment practice in California, United States. This role offers the opportunity to gain meaningful litigation experience and litigate cases through trial, representing employees in various workplace disputes.
Duties
Take and defend depositions
Draft and argue motions
Prepare and respond to written discovery
Work on trial preparation and trial strategy
Litigate employment-related matters involving a broad range of workplace claims under California law
Requirements
JD from an accredited law school
Active California Bar license in good standing
Three plus years of experience in employment law
Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a litigation team
Highly motivated with strong professional judgment and interpersonal skills
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications
