A law firm seeks an Employment Partner to join its office in Greenville, South Carolina. This role involves representing employers in various labor and employment matters, providing practical, business-focused counsel, and contributing to the firm's growth.
Duties
Represent employers in employment litigation and workplace investigations.
Handle restrictive covenant disputes and employee discipline issues.
Ensure compliance with wage and hour regulations.
Provide day-to-day counseling on employment matters.
Advise clients on complex employment issues.
Maintain and expand client relationships.
Requirements
Significant experience in labor and employment matters.
Established and portable book of business.
Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
Strong academic credentials.
Excellent advocacy, communication, and drafting skills.
Admitted and in good standing in South Carolina or eligible for admission.
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
Licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
Skills
Strong client relationship management.
Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
Proficiency in handling complex employment issues.
