Work today, get paid today!The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.48 based on direct and relevant experience.RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Patient Transporter to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As a Patient Transporter, you will provide assistance to technologists by transporting patients to and from medical floors and the ER and assisting in other areas that allows them to maintain an on-time schedule and provide patients with outstanding customer service.This position is full-time, working Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:(90%) Technologist Support & Patient TransportGreets and transports in-patients to and from medical floors and out-patients to and from changing rooms with a focus on delivering quality care and maintaining patients' safetyHelps the technologist stay on time by having the next patient ready before the current patient is ready to get off the table, even if you are working on other tasksAssists patients on and/or off table when requested by technologistPulls patient jackets for upcoming proceduresAssist in processing x-ray filmsDigitizes films to assist in CR upgradePrepares patient jackets and compiles films putting them together in appropriate jacket according to date and numberAssists in room set up between patients, including putting proper coil on table and putting previous coil away and changing table sheetHelps in stocking and cleaning work and control areas and roomsOrganizes and cleans supply closet and computer roomsEnsures departmental equipment is properly disinfected and in good working orderPerforms filing, film delivery and other clerical duties as neededChecks with technologists, IC, Medical Records and/or Front Office for additional duties as needed(10%) Completes other duties as assignedRequired:High school diploma or equivalentStrong customer service skillsPreferred:BilingualRAYUS is committed to delivering clinical excellence in communities across the U.S., driven by our passion for and superior service to referring providers and patients.
