nJoin the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Registered Nurse!
nAn Endoscopy Registered Nurse at MercyOne provides and directs safe, effective, and culturally-competent care for infant through aging adult patients with gastrointestinal disorders/diseases, pulmonary conditions, and adults requiring prostate seed measurement and placement.
nKey Accountabilities:
nnnAssessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification
n
nnPlanning, implementation, and evaluation of care using critical thinking and evidenced-based practice
n
nnAdherence to the Professional Practice Standards as defined by ANA
n
nnActive participation in quality monitoring and performance improvement activities.
n
n nSchedule:
nnn32 hours per week
n
nnDay shift
n
nn10 am flex start time
n
nnRotating call schedule
n
n nGeneral Requirements:
nnnPossession of a current license as a Registered Nurse issued/defined by the State of Iowa.
n
nnPossession of Illinois Registered Nurse license within 1 year of hire.
n
nnBasic Life Support certified within six (6) weeks of hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
n
nnProof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
n
