Job description
Endocrinologist Opportunity
Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join an outpatient clinic team at a mission-driven rural community hospital – Full-time or Part-time options – Comprehensive endocrine care focusing on chronic disease management and patient education
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary conditions, and osteoporosis
Comprehensive consultations and follow-ups in an outpatient setting
Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to ensure continuity of care
Order, interpret, and follow up on laboratory and imaging studies relevant to endocrine diseases
Initiate and manage insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring systems, and other endocrine-related devices and therapies
Participate in call coverage for outpatient endocrinology as needed (minimal or no inpatient call)
Qualifications:
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency and Endocrinology Fellowship
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
Valid and unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) to practice in New York
DEA certification and ability to obtain hospital privileges
Compensation & Benefits:
Hospital-employed status
Salary range: $206,000 – $340,000 based on experience, with guaranteed base plus incentive package
