Job description
Wilmington Endocrinology is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join our established and growing private practice in coastal Wilmington, North Carolina. The position may be structured as either full-time or part-time, depending on the candidate's experience, interests, and availability. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician looking to practice high-quality, outpatient-focused endocrinology in a supportive, flexible, and collegial environment. Our clinic is the pioneer in utilizing 3D thyroid ultrasound and elastography in diagnosing thyroid nodules.
Position Highlights
Primarily office-based practice with no hospital responsibilities
Focus on Thyroid conditions (thyroid cancer, Hashimoto Thyroiditis, hypothyroid and hyperthyroidism), and parathyroid (Hyper/Hypoparathyroidism). We welcome if the candidate would be interested in expanding to other non-diabetic endocrine disorders (adrenal, pituitary, osteoporosis, and more)
Light after hours call schedule (about 1 out of 4 weeks per month)
Opportunity to participate in clinical research and publications, if desired
In-house ultrasound and FNA biopsy procedures
Modern clinic with new facilities, updated equipment, and experienced support staff
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure
Eligible for DEA registration
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
