nAs we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Brooklyn outpatient specialty practice. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of healthcare professionals while providing exceptional care to patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders.
nWe're looking for a motivated clinician who thrives in an outpatient setting, values teamwork, and is passionate about helping patients manage complex chronic conditions through evidence-based care.
nWhat You'll Do
nnEvaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, and other hormonal conditions.
nDevelop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's clinical needs.
nOrder, interpret, and monitor laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic evaluations.
nPrescribe and manage medications, including insulin and other endocrine therapies.
nEducate patients on disease management, nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and preventive healthcare.
nMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal health outcomes.
nMaintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
nCollaborate with physicians, diabetes educators, dietitians, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care.
n nWhat We're Looking For
nnActive New York State Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing.
nGraduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with current national board certification.
nMinimum of 2 years of endocrinology experience required.
nStrong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and chronic disease management skills.
nExperience managing diabetes and other endocrine conditions.
nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
