Less than 100 miles to the Emerald Coast beaches of Florida (Physician/MD qualifications required) Endocrinology - Endocrinology Opportunity with Huge Community Need Clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8a-5p Outpatient only - no inpatient or call responsibilities Practice at one location within the doctor's building of the Lab and radiology services provided in-house . Dedicated Endocrinology RN will be made available Opportunity to precept DO medical school students and IM residents Paid interviewing expenses $100,000 Signing bonus package Comprehensive benefits package Paid malpractice and tail coverage PSLF eligible employer :One of the largest not-for-profit tertiary referral centers in Alabama serving over 600,000 within a 75-mile radius 420 licensed bed facility 3,000+ dedicated employees 400+ active Medical Staff Private Practice Anesthesia group and employed group of CRNAs provide 24|7 in-house coverage 22 OR suites with 2 Endovascular suites and open heart suites Level 2 trauma center with EM residency trained physicians 1 of 4 comprehensive stroke centers in Alabama with a dedicated lab for Cerebrovascular procedures 56 total ICU beds to include dedicated Neuro and CV ICU's Interventional cardiology, EP and radiology labs, lithotripsy, 3 MRIs (1 3- T), 3 CTs including a 64 slice CT and PET Scanner Robust IM Hospitalist program provides ED unassigned coverage, care for transfers, and inpatient consults The region's only facility offering TAVR, EP Cardiology, and Watchman procedures Pain Management and Physiatry services provided through outpatient clinics on campus Comprehensive cancer network with clinics in Dothan, Enterprise, AL and Marianna, FL UAB Cancer Center affiliate The Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine (ACOM) is Alabama's first Osteopathic medical school and the first in the U.S. to be developed by a regional medical center ACGME Internal Medicine Residency program as well as Transitional Year program
