Physician Assistant - Endocrinology Location: New Windsor & Monroe, New York
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $150,000 - $170,000 + Full Benefits Package About the Opportunity A well-established multi-site healthcare organization in New York's Hudson Valley is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join a busy specialty practice focused on diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, obesity, and other metabolic conditions. Collaborative Practice Environment
Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with diabetes and other metabolic disorders
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and follow-up care
Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies
Develop individualized treatment plans
Prescribe and manage medications, including insulin therapies
Educate patients on disease management and lifestyle modifications
Assist with insulin pump and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) therapies
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to provide high-quality patient care
Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
Active New York Physician Assistant license
NCCPA certification
Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience
Experience managing patients with diabetes and chronic conditions
Strong communication and patient education skills
EMR proficiency
Preferred Previous specialty practice experience
Insulin pump management experience
Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) experience
Strong interest in chronic disease management and patient outcomes
