Job description
Join WCS Healthcare Partners, a top multispecialty practice in Essex County, NJ, with a strong focus on quality care. We are seeking a specialist to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to be the first hire for the specialty within our group, allowing you to build and shape the service line with all necessary support in place.
Responsibilities Work 5 days a week, including 1 weekend per month, with the potential to transition to a 4-day, 10-hour work schedule after 6 months.
Focus primarily on thyroid nodules, nodule biopsies, and general endocrine pathology.
Utilize a fully staffed clinical pod, including medical assistants and scribes, with no prior authorizations or pre-certifications required.
Access continual glucose monitoring support and chronic care management.
Perform ultrasounds or refer to on-site radiology technicians and radiologists as needed.
Collaborate with a team that includes 4 5 nationally certified diabetes educators.
Participate in a 30-day orientation, starting with 1 hour per patient and building up to a maximum of 28 patients over a 10-hour day.
Requirements MD or DO from an accredited U.S. medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
Strong clinical expertise in thyroid nodules, nodule biopsies, and general endocrine conditions.
Comfort working across multiple sites within a short radius.
Commitment to collaborative, team-based care.
Spanish language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
