Position Title: Endocrinologist
Location: Grand Rapids
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join a well-established and growing healthcare system in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This opportunity offers the chance to provide comprehensive endocrine care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment while working alongside experienced physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff.
The ideal candidate will diagnose and manage a broad range of endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal disorders, pituitary disorders, and other hormone-related conditions.
Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders.
Provide comprehensive outpatient endocrinology services.
Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
Manage diabetes care, including insulin therapies and advanced diabetes technologies.
Interpret laboratory results, imaging studies, and diagnostic procedures.
Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients and families on disease management, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record system.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary care programs.
Qualifications MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine Residency and Endocrinology Fellowship.
Eligible for or currently holding a Michigan medical license.
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
