Endocrinologist Full-Time Onsite Downtown Los Angeles, CA $155-$160/hour (approximately $322,000-$333,000)
A well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Los Angeles is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist for its multidisciplinary outpatient practice. This is an opportunity to provide comprehensive endocrine care to a diverse and medically underserved patient population in a collaborative, mission-driven environment, on a predictable weekday schedule with a manageable patient volume.
Position Highlights
$155-$160 per hour, approximately $322,000-$333,000 annually
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Outpatient only. No evenings, weekends, or call
Approximately 16-18 patients per day
Collaborative multidisciplinary care team
NHSC-approved site with federal and state loan repayment opportunities
Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal disorders, and other endocrine conditions
Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans
Interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
Coordinate care with primary care providers and specialists
Educate patients on disease management, prevention, and lifestyle modification
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
Eligible for California medical licensure
Active DEA registration, or the ability to obtain one
